In 2023 Indiana has made it legal to locate a DEAD deer with a drone (including thermal). We realize that there will be instances where the deer will still be alive, and in this case the search must be halted and information regarding the deers exact location cannot be shared with the hunter by Law.

Sometimes, bad shots just happen. Let us help you locate your trophy deer, pets, livestock and more with our state-of-the-art thermal and zoom cameras mounted on a drone! Our thermal cameras are able to detect body heat from a dead deer for over 24 hours depending on weather conditions! And, our zoom camera can see clear enough to tell if the deer is dead or alive. We can also scope out your property during the off-season to see if that big buck made it through winter! From several hundred feet away we will be able to conduct a herd analysis without disturbing any deer from your property.

IS THIS LEGAL?
Yes. With several confirmations from Indiana State Officials and DNR. Technology has advanced and beginning January 2023, a Drone may be used in locating a DEAD deer. The Indiana Statute (IC 35-31.5-2-342.3) states a Drone may not aid to "TAKE" a wild animal. The definition of "TAKE" according to the statute is to "KILL". Therefore, since the "TAKING" has already happened, it then becomes legal to use a drone to locate the DEAD deer. If the deer is located and not dead, the drone pilot would have to seize any further action in recovery and would not be able to provide information to the hunter regarding location of the wounded animal. This would be considered aiding the hunter in "TAKING" that animal.

We are out of Northeast Indiana, but will travel up to an hour or so away including Michigan and Ohio!

MILEAGE: Located in NE Indiana there are NO mileage fees for the following Counties: LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, Dekalb.
